Nov. 4, 2013, in ceremonies held
at the school.

Rich was one of seven selected
for this honor who increased
the total number of inductees to
36. Some 39,000 have graduated
from Will Rogers since the first
class in 1940.
He joined Class of '59 classmates Russell Bridges (now
known as Leon Russell), James W. Jones, M.D., and
Stephen Chesebro' as members of this exclusive group.

Supporting School's New Mission
Be sure to check out the Will Rogers High School Community
Foundation, Inc., established in 2010, a non-profit entity to
provide educational support and assistance for students
and faculty, physical improvements to the school, and to
fund special projects benefiting the direct functions of the
school. In the 70 years since the school opened, it had been
without a mechanism that works in coordination with the
school administration to draw direct financial support from
the private sector and the graduates and friends of the

View video taken from 8mm home movie of a party in the home of
classmate Gene Earl, provided by his brother Steve. It is dated December
1955, while the students were in the ninth grade at Wilson Junior High
School. Recognizable classmates include: Gene Earl, Bud Ward, Jim Tyler,
John Grandi, Ray Pearson, Betty Bard, Sherry Turner and Jane Barrett.
